Welcome to Billings First United Methodist Church!
Serving the least, the last and the lost...

You may have heard of how good someplace is, but when you got there you found something different. Here each person is of sacred worth, that means we are who we say we are and we see you as you are. The good people who attend Billings First are not trying to figure you out and judge you. As a group, the folks here simply love you as you are. This also means they are not trying to change you, but will support you through your spiritual journey with God.

When you hear, "invited to participate fully in the life and ministry of the church", you are being invited to do what you do best! Maybe you cook, or sing, play video games, play guitar, play basketball, love to help people, or even speak... Here there is a place for you. You are invited to be the best you, you can be. Come celebrate your wholeness and grow the community with your presence, prayers, gifts and talents.

As the oldest church in Billings, the missions here have been serving this community on and from this corner since 1882. But this is not a church that delves in the past, this is a community that moves to embrace Jesus’ message that God loves everyone and affirming that all people are children of God, made in the image of the Divine. Here you can be you, not seperated by labels and judgements, but included because you are an amazing creation of God. We proudly celebrate diversity as we work to live our vision of radical hospitality (loving everyone). We welcome people of every age, race, and gender identity; diverse nationalities, ethnicities, and sexual orientations; any family structure, economic reality, physical and mental ability, education, and faith history. No matter who you are or where you come from while there are differences among us, we can love alike though we may not think alike.

You are invited to join this nurturing community on a faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect. Living into your journey with God and the community at Billings First United Methodist Church.
